Day 303 - STATUE

I won't be going out today so I am using another photo from last week in Reims France
This statue is in the River Somme and represents Les Hortillonnages which are over 300 hectares of floating veg and floral gardens in Reims

Some typical houses on the Somme at Reims

Here are a few photos we took of these gardens

  1. That's beautiful Lynne. I have been in Reims, but I never saw this statue. It's very green there, like in England, that tells you how often it rains in this part of France. Thanks for the Link ! xx

  2. I've caught up with you Lynne.
I love the comparison photos of yourself and Peter
I do love Catherdrals in other cities and not many are as dark as this one. I won't be going to visit that one.
When I first saw your statue in the river in Rhiems I thought it was Peter fishing.
I hope you are feeling better today. I agree with you about this next week, now we don't have children bonfire night has lost all its magic for us and now there are so many exploding noisy fireworks around I hate and have to make sure Stella is inside.

  3. Great photos, Lynne! Greetings!
The same as Viv I thought it was a real person - so it seems that statue with these colorful "clothes".
I wish you a nice day!
