February MINIBOOK challenge

The theme for February is love. Karen showed us on her blog how to make flowers from different size and shaped hearts. Isat last night and made these 3
and finished them today
Now I need to catch up on finishing My Jan minibook inside pages, just need to put the photos, journalling and embellies together!

February and more challenges!

Today it was our team The Dizzy Dots turn to do the UKS weekly challenge. This was our challenge!
This time we have several elements connected to team members
We all love following sketches so have included a sketch.
We went on our first team retreat last November so we have all used the same team photo of us all, can you see our teamie from Bali added? (thank you Richard).
Pink for breast cancer is very important to us as we have one of our team Dee, fighting this cancer.
We added stitching for our teamie Tara (remembering her stitching at our retreat!)
  • Use our sketch for 10 points from Pagemaps December 2010
  • A photo showing a group of something - people. animals, flowers, trees. etc for 10 points
  • Include pink in your LO for 5 points
  • Some stitching on your LO for 5 points

Here is my LO as an example

I am off now to upload a few pages of my minibook and the flowers I have made for FEB MINIBOOK CHALLENGE

Another birthday!

Within a week to the day it is my DS2's birthday, he was 35 yrs old this year!
Here he is with Zanthe for a roast dinner!
We had to have a birthday cake for Zac to blow out the 'candle'!!

WC challenges at the end of January

Here are 2 UKS weekly challenges I have done these past 2 weeks. I have managed to do the WC every week in Jan so feel very pleased that maybe my scrapping mojo is back!

Jan week 4 we had to have a theme of 'new', use 'who' in the title, and have some red and stars on the LO.
Here is Zac with his new baby sister only a few days old!
Jan week 5 the challenge was to follow a given sketch, chose a theme of a few choices, and choose 4 techniques/elements to use. I chose 1 doodling (not very good at this!) 2 Hand written journalling 3. 10 of something - 10 photos on 1 photo collage 4, made a flower out of newspaper and bubble wrap (thanks to Karen's minibook challenge in Jan xx)
