Day 42 - Portrait of a loved one!

Well it just had to be my lovely DH as a portrait of a loved one.

It is our second marriage, and Peter's wife died when they were in their forties. We will have been married second time round for both of us 27yrs this coming Oct LOL!!

Who would have thought at 40yrsold and 50yrs old we could have clocked up all those years! we have had such a wonderful marriage and life together and hope for further happy years!

I couldn't take a photo of him tyoday as we are pretty sad about our leak(s) and our lovely neighbour dying so suddenly on Wednesday but this is a lovely photo of him that I have tweaked on holiday last August

Thank you for such lovely supportive comments from total strangers xxxxx

  2. Lynne, that's a gorgeous photo of your DH. Almost 27 years, congratulations !
My parents accumulated 63 years so far, what I never will reach as we just passed 10 years and it would make me 109, although hey, who knows? How amazing that people can stand eachother for so long !!!

i love the way you edited the photo, and the soft background really brings focus to your dh, he is a very handsome man and im sure there were hearts breaking all over the place when he chose you.

  10. What a lovely smile! Love can strike at any age, can't it? I lived with my old man for 25 years before I finally agreed to marry him 21 years ago, so my 25th wedding anniversary will really be my 50th...if we live that long!
