Day 103- SHOCKING

When I got todays word I realised that a lot of things shock me, must be my age LOL!
Here is my list
1) dog poo on the pavements and grass in public places
2) rubbish thrown down by people on the pavement and roads
3) The foul and unnecessary language used by young and old in aggression and in every day speech
4) some programmes totally unsuitable for viewing at peek times or at any time!
5) the lack of respect for others whether people are young or old

I could continue but this list is enough!
So today I thought my photo would be easy as we always have dog poo on our pavement outside our house and definitely rubbish, cans bottles and food wrappers as we live just the right distance from a corner shop.
So out I went with my camera to find only dog poo on the grass and no rubbish as the local council have done a cleanup this week, bless them

Don't you just hate seeing this when it is so easy to pick up with a bag and dispose of it in a dog bin which is just across the road from this grass!

  2. I 100% agree with you Lynne and the worst one is probably the poo, my town on the whole is quite free from it but there are patches.

  3. Must be my age too, Lynne, because I fully agree with your list !
As of dog poo, in Switzerland you pay a tax on each dog you own and in Zurich (somewhere else I don't know) there are designated dogs loos and free poo bags available, so if you don't comply, it gets really nasty. It should be the same here, may not the tax, lol, but the "taking it seriously". You can buy poo bags by 200 at the 99p shop currently so people have no excuse, really !
As of your comment on my blog; XXXX to you.

  4. I agree too- I wouldn't dream of not clearing up after Holly and hate having to dodge other dogs on walks!

  5. Don't get me started on the dog poo. Since getting Clyde I can't believe how much poo there is left on the grass etc. Or people bag it and then fling the bag into the trees or leave at the end of the path. Grrrrrr
