Day 15 - INSIDE a machine

That took we a while to think about!! But here it is. Can you guess which machine in my house. there is a clue!! :)

Thank you for good wishes and fingers crossed, lost 31/2 lbs last night so Christmas has nearly gone, 1more lb and then to lose 1 st by end of March, 2lb a week should do it!! Hope I am focused enough!

Day 14 INSIDE the box

Today Joe's sausages order has arrived at our house for Slimming World tonight. Here it all is inside an insulating box!

Hope I have lost some weight tonight, finger's crossed!!!

13th January - another week of challenges - INSIDE MY HOUSE

This week we are challenged to look INSIDE. Today what is inside our house?
Well this is what all grandparents with granddaughters might have  LOL!! A doll's house! Never having had a daughter this is very novel for me...I love it!!

Just added these photos taken by our visitor tonight.  These people are inside my house! Both photos taken by our visitor Pam staying here til Friday.

12th January - BROWN

Not my fav colour though I can now wear brown better than black as my skin and hair colouring change!
My lounge is now this colour in shades of creamy brown instead of the lovely pink shade I showed you yesterday, I do still miss those colours

and our kitchen is now similar colours too!!

11th January - PINK/PURPLE

Today's colour is pink/purple and I have plenty of pink in my life.

Day 10 - BLACK

This was difficult so here is my laptop that I use every day!!

and I have just added the shoes I have worn tonight with a black skirt!!

9th December - WHITE

Plenty of white around the house, front door and window frames are all white PVC! Bathroom and toilet are white with blue tiled floor

Well I don't often wear white but last night I was wearing this jumper so Peter quickly took this photo as we were about to go to bed!

Still wild and windy but think it is getting colder, will know in a minute when I go out!!!

8th January - GREEN

Green is not a colour I wear or have in the house. Plenty of green outside with nature but then I remembered

My first orchid was given to me last September by my UKS teamie and friend Shirley June. In December all the flowers died but I continued to water it each week and now I have several GREEN buds and it should flower again in a few weeks

Day 7 - BLUE today

I haven't mentioned the weather whilst blogging. The UK especially the SW and W coastline has been hit really badly since Christmas by torrential rain swelling rivers and causing the worst floods for decades and since the new year gales have added to high sea tides causing coastal flooding and eroding parts of our already crumbling coastline!. We have been lucky to avoid any flooding or any damaged caused by the high winds. We are told that these gales and stormy weather has been caused by the very cold weather on E coast of USA and that by next week we are due to have some Arctic weather in N and E of UK!!
To day it is dry and although windy for the first time for weeks my washing is on the line! Hooray!!

Today's colour is blue. A colour that both Peter and I love and we both wear a lot of blue and have blue in our bathroom and did have in our kitchen until last year!

Day 6 A new week with Lucky 7's challenge 2014 - this week it is COLOURS

Monday it is RED So red in my life at home

Day 5 - FAMILY

I have already blogged about my family especially about the grandchildren but never talk about Peter's family.
He was born out of wedlock in 1935.His mother was 16 and fortunately her parents (Peter's grandparents) brought him up. She married at 20 and had 3 more children his half bother and sisters. When Peter was 6 he went to live with her in Battle but within the week he was crying for his grand mother so returned to Hastings and never lived with them as a family.
Here they are 4 years ago when Lynne in green celebrated her 60th Birthday

Aren't they alike!! Sadly June on the right died on 23rd December 2 weeks ago suddenly aged 71 yrs, we were away :(

3rd January - Fri - CLOTHES

It is another wild and very wet day in SE England. I hope the west side of UK are OK after the coastal warnings last night.
Today's photo prompt from Lucky 7's challenge is CLOTHES. I would like to link it to resolutions and say I won't buy as many clothes this year but I cannot do that!!
Well I have plenty of photos of clothes taken in 2013 when I bought them but remembered a month ago my late friend Sue's daughter ( in Canada) had a baby girl called Eliana Susan. The 3 remaining college 'girls' clubbed tog and bought these outfits for her.

Her she is on Christmas day in BC, photo was on FB just love the photos and news you can get from that site if used carefully!!

 and now the rain has stopped and nearly perfect blue skies but still have raindrops on the glass!!

2nd January 2014 - Lucky 7's challenge - daily prompt DRINK

Well another resolution is to drink less alcohol, but sadly failed yesterday on day 1!

Today my photo is making a cuppa tea. A long time ago I never ever drank tea, hated it and the only thing I drank was coffee and vast quantites too.   I finally discovered when I ended up at the GP with aching joints that I had a food allergy to the coffee bean. At first I drank herbal drinks but never got hooked on them and meeting friends for 'coffee' it was hot choc I had. eventually I started drinking tea and love a cuppa. I have gone back to the occasional coffee out but now it is a skiny latte!

So this week's word is Resolutions for a photo and daily
Wednesday 1st - FOOD

Well I do not do resolutions as they can never usually,  be kept by me !! but for the last few years I have been losing...trying to lose weight!! So today's extra prompt works well with resolutions today!!

Christmas  we were away.   I tried but was not in control of how the foods I chose were cooked and in control but what I drank...whoops!!.... put on 4lbs. So will be totally honest I weighed in at 14st again :(

So yes you have guess... Resolution for 2014 is to get to a weight I am comfortable with (size 14)

So here is the food to eat tonight (home alone as Peter is with footie friend watching football in Peterborough!!) I had planned our first roast turkey...but we had that on 9th with some of the famil!y!  Any way we have ham and turkey tonight what ever time he gets in
