Day 155 - COLOURFUL and Jubilee

Today is our involvement in the Diamond Jubilee celebrations by going to a street party of my friend's daughter, they are expecting 80 people in their cul de sac!
I had made the buns and cheese tartlets on Saturday but this morning needed to decorate them with british edible flag toppings and buttercream butterfly buns. It is years since I have made cakes and now know why I don't do them very often as the kitchen felt so sticky with icing sugar!! (and we don't eat cakes in our house eother!!)

 The word was colirful and I guess later at the party I will take many colourful photos but decided on my scarf I am wearing with blue trousers and a white sweater.
